Strictly Necessary

These cookies are necessary for our website to function properly and cannot be switched off in our systems. They are usually only set in response to actions made by you which amount to a request for services, such as setting your privacy preferences, logging in or filling in forms. You cannot opt out of these cookies. You can set your browser to block or alert you about them, but some parts of the site will not work.

Performance

These cookies let us count visits and traffic sources so we can measure and improve how the site performs. They tell us which pages are most and least popular and how readers move around the site. We use Google Analytics for this. All the information these cookies collect is aggregated. If you do not allow them, we will not know when you have visited.

Functionality

These cookies allow the site to remember choices you make — such as your language, or preferences you have set — and provide enhanced, more personal features. If you do not allow them, some or all of these services may not work properly.

Targeting or Advertising

These cookies may be set through our site by advertising partners to build a profile of your interests and show you relevant adverts on other sites. They do not store directly personal information but are based on uniquely identifying your browser and device. Blockcritics does not currently run advertising cookies; this control is here so your preference is respected if that ever changes.
